Krista's Birthday Card

This is a birthday card for my Best Friend Krista. Her birthday was in February but I was sick the day we had our scrapbboking get together on her Birthday. I finally go the chance to scrapbook with her this past weekend so I gave her her card and a nice bag full of goodies.

This card was made using a new spin of the Joy Fold Technique. I saw this fold done on pinterest and decided to give it a spin. Here is the link to the original post that I saw the card on.

Krista loves cupcakes so I decided to use Lulu and her Cupcake by Kraftin' Kimmie on her card. I stamped her on Whisper White cardstock and coloured her with my copic markers. For the pattern papers I used My Mind's Eye Indie Chic paper. I cut her out with a circle testability and then mounted her on a cicle of pink pattern paper and then once again onto another piece of paper cut with the Windowframe Dies from Stampin' Up. The "Happy Birthday" is from CTMH Happy Birthday Set.

The button is from the Stampin' Up Sell-a-bration Ribbon and Button pack. I sewed it on the left hand side to help keep the card closed.

 I then mounted the Window Frame cut out onto a rectangle piece of pattern paper with the corners rounded. The retangle piece was scored at the far right and mounted under the card base. On the left I use the Lables 17 Nestability and put a fold at the far left edge and tucked it under the

I mounted the whole thing to a Summer Starfruit Cardstock base and stitched around the outside with my sewing machine. The sentiment on the inside is from a old Stampin' Up stamp set. I stamped with Soft Suede on a scrap piece of pattern paper left over from the front.

Little Chef Birthday

Wow this card layout is suring making the rounds with me. I made this card at the same time as I made the one for Rhys' little friend Bella. I used the scraps from the other card to make this card. I love this stamp I think I will make a few more using her. Love my Lulu's from Kraftin' Kimmie!

The base of the card is made from Crumb Cake cardstock. The pattern paper is from the Bo Bunny line Sweet Tooth. I also went back thru my Stampin' Up cardstock and pulled out a discontinued color Bermuda Bay for the mats. The "Happy Birthday" is from the CTMH stamp set "Happy Birthday". I stamped is using a another discontinued colour Purely Pomegranate. I stamped Lulu with some Momento ink and coloured her with my copic markers.

I used a large oval Nestability to cut out my Lulu image. I then cut the Bermuda Bay cardstock with Lacy Oval Nestability to create a decorative mat. I added a couple of brads from my stash to the corners to finish of the card.

I used some left over scraps to finish of the inside of the card. The sentiment is from the stamp set Wacky Wishes and stamped using Purely Pomegranate ink.

October Baby Book Layout

For this layout I used pattern paper from a old Halloween line from Imaginice. The photo mats are made for a 3 1/2 x 5 photo, a 3x3 photo and a 3x4 photo. The this outside mat is made using Lucky Limeade cardstock from Stampin' Up. The clip on the corner of the larger photo mat is from the company Around the Block. 

The calendar is made using the "My Design Studio" from Stampin' Up. I was able to use the program to create the calendar, add the numbers and the pumpkins. I used my Gypsy and Cricut to cut out "October". I then offset the shadow to the right to give it a 3D look. Before I glued down the letters I stamped the background with the vine stamp from "Baroque Motifs" using Lucky Limeade, both are from Stampin' Up. I cut some decorative photo corners with a EK Success punch and Lucky Limeade cardstock, I mounted them behind the calendar. 

Happy St.Patty's Day

These are the St.Patty's Day Treats that I made for Rhys' Class. When I first started making these I didn't realize that St.Patrick Day was at the end of March Break. But once I started I decided that I would finish them and she could give them out as treat on the Friday before March Break.

The treat topper was made all out of Punches. The pot is made from the body of the Owl in the Owl Punch. I cut off his ears and feet to give the shape of a pot. The gold is made from the small scalloped oval punch. I then added a Small punched out clover and mounted them all onto a scalloped circle. The "Happy St.Particks Day" Stamp is from a really old CTMH stamp set.

In the 1x8 treat bags I filled them with Skittles in the colour pattern of a rainbow. I absolutely love how they turned out! They also didn't take to long as I had my wonderful midnight friend Andrea helping me out. We even had enough supplies to make them for her sons class as well.

December Page

This is the third layout in my Baby album for my friends Paul & Melissa. I made this layout to fit one 5x7  photo for the traditional Santa and baby photo. 

The ribbon is from Bo Bunny and the buttons are made using the Martha Stewart Button Punch.

I used my Gyspy and Cricut to cut out "December"  with the Billionaire cartridge. The Calendar was made with the My Design Studio from Stampin' Up. 

Bella's Birthday Card

You may recognize this layout. I used this same layout on my Rich Razzleberry Dancer Card. This stamp is from Kraftin' Kimmie. I have fallen in love with the Lulu stamps and have quite a few. I coloured her with my Copic markers. I then cut her out using the Oval nestalibity. The "Happy Birthday" stamp is from CTMH "Happy Birthday" stamp set.  The pattern paper is from a old Bo Bunny line Sweet Tooth 6x6 paper pack. I also used a old cardstock colour "Bermuda Bay" from Stampin' Up. The ribbon is a old line from Stampin' Up. The base of the card is made with Early Espresso Cardstock. I finished the front of the card with 4 turquoise pearls. The

This is my second two page layout for the baby album I am making for my friends Paul and Melissa. You can see more about the album on my previous post. 

I used my Gypsy and Cricut to cut out the snowman and the titles from the Snow Friends cartridge and the When it's Cold Outside Cartridge. The calendar was made using Stampin' Up's Design Studio. By using the design studio I was able to add snowflakes behind the numbers. This page came together pretty fast and easy.

Rich Razzleberry Dance Card

I made this card for my little cousins birthday. She is really into dance and dances almost everyday. I think that I may remake this card for Thank You cards for Rhys' dance teachers at the end of the year. I think when I remake the card I might emboss the oval with the Nestability to give it a little more around the edge. I used my iRock tool to add the jewels around the outside. All the stamped images come from the "Aspire" stamp set from Close to my Heart.

Love this card! I made this card for my Brother and Sister in-law. They are expecting their first baby in August. They don't live here so I do try to send them cards and things often  just to remind them how much we miss them and wish they were here. 

I love paper piercing the Bella stamps, on this one I paper pierced the chair and ottoman as well as her shirt. I added some little tags under the bow to fill one of the white space.
