Vicky's Card ...

I made this card for a friend at work who was retiring. I made it more like a book with lots of pages on the inside for people to sign.I love how this card turned out. I created my own sunrise background with a brayer and several ink colours. I very slowly built the colour and added colour from lightest to darkest. The card measures 5 1/2 x 5 1/2. The paper in the background with the words is torn from an old book that I picked up on my summer trip for this purpose. I am so glad I finally had a chance to use it. I unfortunately can't remember where a lot of the product is from as it was all left over items in my scrap room from other projects.

End Page for Henry's Album

This is the End Page for Henry's Album. I thought this would be a great place where Meagan could put head shots of Henry for every month so you could really see how he grew and changed each month. I LOVE how this turned out and already have plans to create it again. The words were all create with the  My Digital Studio from Stampin' Up and then I place the Brown mats on the page after I printed it out. The pattern paper is just how you see it all I did was cut it down to be a 8x8 and the cute worms were already there. Super simple and super fast!

4th Annual Charity Pajama Stamping Party

4th Annual
Charity Pajama Stamping Party
& Yard Sale with a Twist

Thursday, August 30, 2012
6:30 – 9:30 p.m.
Oliver Road Community Centre
(Basement)

$5.00 entry fee at the door
(includes 3 ballots for a $50 door prize)

Light Refreshments and Goodies will be provided

R.S.V.P to Donna at ddigby@shaw.ca by Sunday, August 26, 2012.

The Charity we have chosen this year is the Northern Cancer Fund – Chemotherapy - Leukemia in Honour of Patty LeClair.
Patty is Donna’s Aunt and in May she was diagnosed with Leukemia. She is a fighter with a very positive attitude, just like our dear friend Ellena.

At the party you will have the opportunity to make two Christmas cards, one with Stampin’ Up’s demonstrator Jennifer Pearson and one with Close to my Heart’s Consultant Shanna Cameron Picard.

Bring a Twoonie and create a “Sweet” make and take with Amy Digby (All the proceeds will be going to the Charity).

For every $50 (before shipping and taxes) with both companies combined you will receive a ballot for a special $50 prize package.

You may earn free shipping with each company by spending $100 or more (before shipping and taxes) from each consultant. Shanna and Jennifer are offering this special promotion as part of their charitable donation to the event.

Close to my Heart only accepts Cash or Cheques. Stampin’ Up accepts Visa, Mastercard, Cash or Cheques.

After crafting your Christmas cards and “Sweet” make and take, join us for our Yard Sale with a Twist. Bring your cash and bid on our fabulous bundles of card making and scrapbooking supplies to raise money for the Nothern Cancer Fund – Chemotherapy - Leukemia in Honour of Patty LeClair.

Although Donna has always been the “Hostess” for our Pajama parties, she has always donated the hostess rewards to benefit the charity. Many of you know that Donna has had a really tough time these last few months. This year, we would like to offer her some cheer and help her to begin to replenish her lost items from the flood by insisting that she be the beneficiary of the hostess rewards from this year’s party. Let’s make this the best party yet – we will not only be benefiting our chosen charity but also helping out a great friend!

If you aren’t able to make the event, but wish to place an order, please contact Shanna at 345-3873 or bananastamper@gmail.com or Jennifer at 628-8692 or at stampingjen@tbaytel.net prior to August 30th.

Although the event is on August 30th, we will be placing the Close to My Heart order on September 1st so that we can purchase the September Stamp of the Month (in our opinion, it is much nicer than August’s Stamp of the Month).

Pass your Catalogue around!
Drop some hints!
Get your Christmas wish list together!
We take orders from husbands – have them call or email us before the party.
You’ll be glad you did & your husband will thank you.

Happy Campers Frame

Friends of our purchased a brand new camp this year. I wanted to make them a "Camp Warming" present for them that they could use to decorate their camp. I decided to create a frame similar to the one that I made my Mother-in-Law for christmas. The frame is a 11 1/2 x 35 1/2 inch frame. I was lucky that my LSS DAT'S Scrapbooking just got in the new Bo Bunny Camp-a-lot Line, I bought it all just in case, lol! I used my Gyspy and Cricut to cut all the pieces. The matts are all made for 5x7 photos. It is hard to see in the photo but I also used some linen thread to make some fishing line which ran through the fishing rod, around some photos and ended on the fish jumping out of the water.

Items Used:
* - Stampin' Up Items
** - Items available at DAT'S Scrapbooking .. my LSS

2012 Digital Album

This is my second Digital Scrap book that I made for my Brother-in-law for Christmas. My brother-in-law lives in Barrie, ON quite a ways away from us. For the last two Christmas I have purchased some little photo albums from Black's Photography. It is great cause once I make on I can easily make more for all the grandparents and Aunts and Uncles. I used a combination of Adobe Photoshop and The Design Studio b Stampin' Up to create all the pages. I am really excited as of August 1st  Stampin' Up will be launched MDS2 and it seems to have fixed all my complaints that I had about the original MDS. I can't wait to try it out when mine arrives!

ENJOY!!
